Enter the Revolutionary Holy Land to Draw Strength for Striving

On July 19, 2019, Huayang Chemical organized its Party members and outstanding employees of 2018 to visit and study in the revolutionary holy land of Yan’an, seeking the red revolutionary path, experiencing the Yan’an spirit and receiving revolutionary tradition education.

All the participants successively visited the revolutionary sites of Yangjialing and Zaoyuan.  Yangjialing was the location of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China during the Yan’an period. From November 1938 to March 1947, five senior leaders, namely Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Zhou Enlai, Liu Shaoqi and Ren Bishi, lived and worked here. During this period, the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China continued to command the enemy rear battlefield of the War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression and led the Liberation War, led the Great Production Movement and the Rectification Movement, and held the Seventh National Congress of the Communist Party of China and the Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art. Zaoyuan was relocated from Yangjiaping to improve the working conditions of the Central Committee after the living and production conditions in the Shaanxi-Gansu-Ningxia Border Region gradually improved. From 1944 to March 1947, the Secretariat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China led the whole Party to carry out the Rectification Movement and the Great Production Movement among the military and civilians in the liberated areas, and led and commanded the final victory of the war.

Listening to the passionate explanations from tour guide and viewing the physical objects, all the visitors learned about the growth journey of the CPC from small to large, the strength of the Chinese revolutionary forces from weak to strong, and the progress of the Chinese revolutionary cause from setbacks to victories. Meanwhile, they systematically recognized the brilliant achievements created by the Central Committee of the CPC in Yan’an over the past thirteen years. And have comprehensively understood the “Yan’an Spirit”, which is mainly characterized by “adhering to a firm and correct political direction, the ideological line of emancipating the mind and seeking truth from facts, the fundamental purpose of serving the people wholeheartedly, and the entrepreneurial spirit of self-reliance and hard work”.

Realizing that the “Yan’an Spirit” will always be a powerful spiritual driving force that inspires us to hold firm to our ideals and beliefs, overcome all kinds of difficulties and challenges, and achieve the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation, all the participants’ patriotic feelings are kindled in this visit and study journey. All our Party members and outstanding employees expressed that for the Chinese great rejuvenation and prosperity, as well as the continuous improvement of Chinese people’s material and spiritual civilization, we should strictly demand and temper ourselves to a higher standard, inherit and carry forward the spirit of hard work and perseverance, and forge ahead fearlessly in the face of any difficulties. At the same time, we should vigorously promote the “Yan’an Spirit”, integrate this spirit into the company’s development and our own life and work, and ensure that the “Yan’an Spirit” is passed down and carried forward from generation to generation!
