2019 marked a pivotal year for Huayang Chemical’s transformation and upgrading efforts. The R&D department, adhering to the company’s green and innovative philosophy, has strengthened technological innovation and reserves to provide scientific support for sustainable development. With clearly assigned project responsibilities, the department ensures controlled progress, accurate R&D data, detailed pilot plans, and processes that meet safety, environmental, and profitability requirements.
To protect intellectual achievements before market commercialization, the company prioritizes patent applications. The R&D department initiated its 2019 training program with “Patent Fundamentals and Technical Disclosure Documentation” on January 18, inviting Peng Yongnian from Three Gorges Patent Office to conduct a seminar attended by technical staff from production, quality control, equipment, and product management. The training covered: patent basics and application requirements; technical disclosure documentation writing; case studies on novelty, inventiveness, and practical applicability for invention/utility model patents.
This program systematically enhanced employees’ understanding of patent processes, enabling them to identify innovations in daily work and draft high-quality patent disclosures. These efforts support the company’s annual patent application goals and drive its strategic transformation.
